General: (political statement of goals, objectives, views, philosophies)

I serve the public as an educator and as an activist. I run for office mainly to promote elimination of the Electoral College voting method.
The most critical issue is the fact we do not have the right to elect our president. We are limited to the mere selection of party electors. The electoral method has failed several times in the past and we know it will fail again. Why use an expensive electoral process we know is bound to failure? Why not just have the congress count the votes of the people? There are no excuses.
